Soar with God                      Deut. 32:13; Is. 40:28-31

- Eagles can flap but not soar w/o help from wind and heat thermals.

- Eagles can circle up within thermals to 2 miles high.

- 270 mi. in 1 day; 2 min. per hr. flap in flight; don't burnout from flapping.

- Eagles -- not self-help; you can't fly above storms w/o God's help.

- Need God's
Power as wind support. John 3:8. You don't know where God will lead
you. Spread your wings and let Him direct you.

-
Eph.5:18 -- Be filled continually w/the Spirit(+ -). Refueling car.

- Wait in God's Presence.
Isa. 40:28-31 (NASB). Eagles wait for wind b/f flying. Faith is
following but also waiting.

- See from God's
Perspective. Eagle's eyesight is 8x sharper than humans.
Football field. Adult can't see out of nest but can soar and see eagles 50 mi
away. When you soar (position) w/God, He changes your perspective to his.

- Fulfilling God-given
Potential. God's given you a chainsaw; don't waste it
potential on weeds.

- Autobahn Mercedes story -- 65; 120; 180mph. Didn't reach potential.

- You don't have a speedometer attached to you. Test drive however fast God
prompts you in order to discover how much potential He's placed in you.

- Yield to God's
Purposes. God stirred Israel's nest out of Egypt so they'd go
to the Promised Land -- not primarily for physical blessings but for His Name
and renown. God's got a great plan for His life, but He wants you to be a part
of His plans too.

- Read printed Abdullah story.

- If you were an eagle, where would you be in this story?

- Why does God want you to soar? What does He want you to do?
