"Friend of sinners" -> Prostitute, ate w/zaccheus
- Jesus chose us! People are equally valuable to God.
:2 – ""Meeting" = "synagogue"-> Church Today
- Visitors should be more welcome at church than elsewhere.
A – Unreturning visitors B/C no one befriended them.
A – Form a ministry for visitors: welcome & invite back.
:3 – Sin wasn't kindness to rich; it was unkind to the poor.
- Favoritism != Favorite friends, but a clique is bad.
:4 – Don't discriminate by age (SR. SAT w/7th Graders)
Intelligence, Popularity, Appearance, Language, or $
- Discrimination due to: Arrogance, ignorance that God loves them
equally(:5), & absence of love(:8)
- If you're excluded, pray & revel in God's companionship (Personal testimony - 9th
Grade)
- If included, risk your reputation for love.
- Apply :6- Most popular people can be the least loyal friends.

- Don’t just allow the discriminated in; Seek them out & befriend them(Mexico trip).
I- Bringing-(seeking out) Richard, David, & Stacy to church.
